The fundamental reason this position exists is to coordinate and oversee the day to day operations of Riverfront entertainment, recreation and sports facilities. The major work duties include contract negotiation, event planning and oversight, and supervision of employees. The employee reports directly to the Events Central Director.
Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Business Administration, or a closely related field and three (3) years’ experience in the management of a large public assembly facility.
NOTE: Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to work irregular hours, to work indoors and outdoors during all types of weather conditions, to walk, stand and/or maneuver around facilities for long periods of time.
