The fundamental reason this
position exists is to assist in the development and implementation of a funding
and outreach strategy for the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. The work responsibilities of the position
are: assists in grant research, writing and administration of grants, planning,
directing, and implementing a donor relations program to establish and maintain
a systematic program for donor recognition, donor communication, donor acknowledgments,
and special events; promotes, staffs, and attends Museum sponsored events; and
performs administrative duties.
Supervision is received from the Museum Development Officer.
High
School diploma, GED or equivalent, and one year of experience in professional
fundraising, constituent/client relationship management, public relations, or a
related area with two years of database management experience.
NOTE: Qualifying
education, training, and experience that provide the requisite knowledge,
skills, and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
