This classification exists to
manage or coordinate programs and services in the Montgomery Museum of Fine
Arts Learning and Programs department.
The employee will develop and implement programs that will provide
learning opportunities and unique experiences for on-site, online, in schools, and
in the community. This position reports to the Museum Curator III (Head of
Learning and Programs).
Graduation from a four-year
college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in
Art Education, Museum Studies, Art History, Design, Studio Art, Art Therapy, or
a related field; and at least two years of experience in a museum, education
program, school, or university.
NOTE: Qualifying education, training, and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
