The fundamental reason this
job exists is to develop and maintain Web pages for various City departments
and their programs for the public.
Coordinates Web page content with department personnel, and develops webpage
layouts and also maintains Web pages by updating information and
troubleshooting problems. This position serves as a subject matter expert for
electronic and print information dissemination, and provides guidance, quality
oversight, and management in providing high-quality, cost-effective, efficient
and timely electronic and print information dissemination services. The
incumbent serves as a project manager for web product development. The
incumbent plans, organizes, and leads web-based projects and design processes
to meet customer needs by effectively communicating department market research. The position reports to the General Services Manager.
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Industrial Design,
Graphic Arts or a closely related field and three (3) years of Web Page design
experience for business applications.
NOTE:
Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite
knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
Must be willing to work
extended hours for emergencies such as system failures.
