The fundamental reason this
classification exists is to manage the functions of the box office through the
selling and marketing of events managed by the Riverfront Division. The work responsibilities of this position
are: manages admission ticket sales for cruises and events; oversees the event
financial reporting; and performs administrative duties. The Box Office Manager reports directly to
the Riverfront Superintendent.
Supervision may be exercised over temporary event personnel.
High school diploma including or
supplemented by coursework in bookkeeping/accounting and two (2) years of
experience in box office management operations.
NOTE: Qualifying education, training and experience
that provide the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job
will be considered.
