Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.
**A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education, training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies and MCCP Board Rules & Regulations**
The fundamental reason that this classification
exists is to serve as coordinator for the equestrian program of the Montgomery
Therapeutic Recreation Center (MTRC). The
incumbent reports to the Therapeutic Recreation Center Director.
High school or GED, and at least one
year of responsibility for teaching equestrian lessons to include the training
and caregiving of horses. Must be a competent rider with a minimum of one year
of experience participating in equestrian competitions (horse shows, rodeos,
etc…).
NOTE: Qualifying education, training and experience
that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job
will be considered.
Must meet PATH registered level criteria or
other agencies’ certifications such as Special Olympics.
