The reason the position exists is to perform responsible professional work providing services to the Montgomery County Probate Court.  This is responsible professional work providing services on an outreach basis to a limited target population, working closely with a multi-disciplinary Crisis Evaluation and Support Team (CEST) to providing treatment, rehabilitation and support to persons with serious mental illness and severe functional disability.  This position reports to the Probate Judge or his/her designee.

Must have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology and two (2) years’ experience in clinical counseling/psychology.  Must obtain LGSW or ALC credentials within three (3) months after hire.  Must meet requirements of Medicaid for approved Medicaid Provider. 

NOTE: Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.

Must hold a valid Alabama Driver's License and maintain a driving record that is acceptable to the Authority's insurance carrier. Must maintain liability coverage on personal vehicles. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings and/or weekends.
