Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.
**A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education, training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies and MCCP Board Rules & Regulations**
The
fundamental reason this job exists is to supervise Community Corrections staff
engaged in managing community corrections programs, monitoring and tracking the
population of the Montgomery County Detention Facility and to securing
alternative releases for targeted populations. The work responsibilities
include: supervising the staff,
overseeing community corrections cases, and law enforcement duties. The Community Corrections Supervisor reports
directly to the Director or Assistant Director of Community Corrections.
Bachelor’s degree in
business administration, public administration, criminal justice, criminology,
counseling, psychology, sociology or a closely related field from an accredited
college or university. Three (3) years of offender case management experience
working in a probation or Community Corrections department.
NOTE: Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
