This is
entry-level work in the Montgomery County Detention Facility. Employees of this class are responsible for
the scheduling of inmate recreation times as well as the maintenance and care
of recreational areas and equipment. Employees in the class monitor inmates
during recreational time. Work is performed under the general supervision of a
Captain or the Detention Facility Administrator.
High
School/GED and six (6) months experience in scheduling or developing
recreational programs for adults to include selecting appropriate equipment and
activities. Three college level courses
in recreational programming or physical education can be substituted for the
six (6) months experience.
NOTE:
Qualifying education, training and experience that provide the requisite
knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
