The
fundamental reason the classification exists is to mend and alter garments for
county employees. Assigned work responsibilities include processing orders for
tailoring, mending and altering garments, attaching items to garments, pressing
garments, maintaining inventories, performing maintenance on equipment, etc.
The employee reports to the Deputy Sheriff Major for the Administrative
Division.
Two (2)
years of paid work experience as a tailor making alterations and repairs to
garments.
NOTE: Qualifying education, training and experience that
provide the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job will
be considered.
