The fundamental reason this classification exists is to oversee, coordinate and perform activities involving the maintenance and repair of systems and equipment in the County facilities. The essential functions are: troubleshoots and repairs systems and equipment, maintains security equipment and systems, maintains office areas, conducts fire safety inspections and maintains fire safety of facility, completes administrative duties, supervises employees, and serves as Acting Plant Maintenance Manager during his absence. This employee reports to the Plant Maintenance Manager.
High School or GED. Five (5) years’ experience in building maintenance or as a construction foreman. Two years’ supervisory experience in building maintenance or construction.
