Nurse Investigator Level I or Level II
Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities under the supervision of the Director of Investigative Division for: planning, coordinating and conducting investigations; monitoring compliance of licensed/certified individuals under Board Orders; and other assigned activities related to the regulation of nursing. This includes responsibility for coordinating and participating with other city, state and federal agencies as needed in activities related to the enforcement of the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act and other state and federal laws concerning nursing practice.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
An unencumbered, current Oklahoma RN license is required, with seven years of experience as a Registered Nurse which includes two years clinical nursing experience within the last five years, or previous investigative experience.
Some travel is required.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is the minimum education requirement and applicants without a BSN will not be considered.
Applicant must be detail oriented. Public speaking is required in this position.
Unclassified positions serve at the will of the Executive Director. The Executive Director may separate such unclassified employees at any time with or without cause.
