Position is located at the Office of Juvenile Affairs State Office in Oklahoma City OK

The Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs (OJA) is offering a challenging career opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated individual to assume the position of Chief Psychologist. This position is responsible for the following:

Under general direction, performs administrative and professional work planning, directing, coordinating and integrating the psychological and related services for OJA operated institutions. Emphasis of the work is on administrative and professional supervision of behavioral health staff engaged in client caseloads, working in close correlation with the medical staff. Supervision is exercised by means of consultation on more complex cases and review of completed work as needed to assure professional competence, and;

- Provides consultation to OJA contract organizations providing counseling services,   assists in evaluation of contractor effectiveness in delivering services, and;
  
- Oversees provision of OJA provided evaluations of individuals in support of placement decisions.
  
- Work closely with OJA leadership in achieving strategic goals and performance measures within behavioral health areas.
  
- Aggregate data and participate in budget process to plan for current, emerging, and future resource requirements (financial, human, material, and/or informational).

Participate in the development of education programs and staff development models to increase productivity and performance.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 
Must be able to pass background check and drug screening. At the time of employment, applicants must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver's License.
