Human Resources Management Specialist III

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services is currently seeking a Human Resource Professional to join our Human Resources Management division located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The incumbent chosen for this position will process interview material, recruiting activities, and prepare recruiting announcements and other information concerning job vacancies. The individual selected will review and process employee personnel transactions, to include onboarding, appointment changes and auditing timesheets for payroll. 

Additionally, this position will ensure compliance with applicable laws and rules concerning appointments, promotions, demotions, transfers, separations and other personnel actions. This position may also be responsible for providing technical assistance regarding the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act: Family Medical Leave Act, leave administration, worker’s compensation, insurance, retirement and other employee benefits programs or other special programs.

Job Type/Salary: Full-time, M-F / $40,500 annually

Qualifications:
Five years of technical clerical work in which one of the years of experience should be in one of the following:  job analysis, position classification, wage/salary, benefit administration, recruitment, payroll administration, or accounting OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. No substitution is allowed for the required one year of specialized experience.
