Location of Work:  Oklahoma City, OK

The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking a full-time Forensic Accountant for our Consumer Protection Unit.

Position Summary:
Responsibilities include assisting attorneys and agents with investigations by reviewing, investigating, identifying, interpreting and/or analyzing financial information to identify inaccuracies and discrepancies in financial documents, being proficient at providing litigation support audits to be used in trial evidence, clearly and concisely reporting on the results of all investigative audits, and occasionally testifying in court.

Required Qualifications: 
Three years’ experience in forensic accounting, or related work, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, and thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required. Candidate must exhibit strong investigative and analytical skills, attention-to-detail, familiarity with data analysis software and the ability to discretely handle confidential information.

Preference will be given to candidates who have completed the Certified in Financial Forensics credential and have experience testifying in proceedings before a court or administrative agency.
