Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) Field Advisor

Salary: $66,750.00/year
Work Location: 3500 Martin Luther King Ave., Oklahoma City

The Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) Field Advisor is responsible for the oversight of contractors who provide maintenance and installation of electronic toll collection systems. The systems include: computer systems, radio frequency equipment, and mechanical equipment. In addition, this position inspects this equipment.

Key Duties:
•Analyzes and documents system processes and problems; develops solutions to enhance efficiencies.
•Reviews daily system integration reports and work orders to better isolate current and potential problems.
•Leads and/or participates in system field testing; supports test script development and execution.
•Oversees electronic toll collection system installation and system integration in field operations; performs onsite inspections in coordination with contractors; ensures lane performance requirements are being met according to task orders.
•Inspects and troubleshoots maintenance work of contractors; ensures contractor performs adequate quality of work and provides timely responsiveness to maintenance requirements; ensures maintenance actions are performed in a manner consistent with best industry standards and in compliance with service levels identified in the maintenance plan; assists in monitoring contractual key performance indicators.

Minimum of four years’ experience involving responsible oversight of computer systems, radio frequency equipment, or mechanical equipment maintenance. Experience in inspecting, testing, and maintaining systems preferred. 

Special Requirements:
Possession of a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and must be willing and able to perform all job-related in-state travel associated with the position.

Applicants must take and pass a physical and drug test prior to appointment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk and reach; talk and hear.  Routinely, employees are required to sit; to manipulate objects, tools or controls; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Employees must occasionally lift 60 to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.
