Why and How Cookies are Used
The online employment application requires the use of cookies so that you
may spend as much time as is needed on each part without your session "timing out". Only the following information is stored in the
cookies: a reference to your application number and information from the job bulletin, such as the recruitment number, job title, filing deadline and additional required materials.
Cookies are only used to provide linking information from screen to screen as you move through the application process. Only the cookie information saved on your computer by this
program can be retrieved by this program.
All cookie data placed by this program is removed upon properly exiting the program and/or shutting down your browser. Proper exiting of the program means that you either made a final submission of the application you were working on or you clicked on the exit button to leave the program.
How to Turn On Cookies
If your are seeing this page it's possible that you don't have cookies enabled in your browser. Below are listed browser-specific instructions on how to enable your cookies.
Click Start > Control Panel.
(Note: with Windows XP Classic View, click the Windows Start button > Settings > Control Panel).

Refresh Your Browser Window
If you've already checked that your cookies are enabled and you're still seeing this page, try opening a new window in your browser. Sometimes using tabs in a single browser instance can cause your cookies to stick.

1) Cache. First try clearing the browser cache for the version you're using:

Click the Tools menu. If you don't see the menu, press Alt button on your keyboard to show the menus.
Select Delete Browsing History.
Select the checkbox for Temporary Internet Files.
Click the Delete button.
Once the files have been deleted, click Okay.
Note: It can take several minutes for the cache history to be deleted.
Internet Explorer 7.x
Click the Tools menu. If you don't see the menu, press Alt button on your keyboard to show the menus.
Select Delete Browsing History.
Click the Delete files button.
Click the Yes button in the confirmation window.

2) Cookies. If clearing the cache doesn't fix the problem, next you may want to try clearing the browser cookies.
Important! While deleting the browser cookies may fix the problem, it also removes your saved settings for sites you've previously visited.
