  • Set-up and operate manual lathe and Bridgeport machines.
  • Use of calipers, micrometers, and comparators to evaluate critical drawing dimensions, proficiently
  • Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and drawings
  • Utilize schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions
  • Perform light assembly
  • Examine parts, consult blueprints, measure parts to ensure specification
  • Perform visual inspection of in-process and finished components, subassemblies and products
  • Adhere to regulatory and company requirements including, safety, work area cleanliness, maintenance, calibration of equipment and work instructions
  • Work under general supervision and complete assignments with limited instructions


 Qualifications and Skills:


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic Machining and CNC Fundamentals Certificate or similar is required
  • Ideal candidate will have machining experience
  • Proficient in the use of basic hand/power tools
  • Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time
