Production Associate

As the demand for Freeman Boats increases, so does the size of our family and we are currently looking for self-motived, dependable and goal-oriented candidates.  Attention to detail and exceptional craftsmanship is expected.

Responsibilities /Job Duties will vary based on department assigned:

·       Application of fiberglass to mold surface using a roller

·       Application of tooling gel and gel coat for the purpose of repairing and creating molds

·       Sanding, drilling, and cutting of the fiberglass and assemble all components

·       Must be able to use angle grinder, die grinder, band saw, and jig saw

·       The dry application of hand laid fiberglass for the process of vacuum infusion

·       Performs other related duties as assigned by management



Education and Experience

·       Basic use of hand tools needed

·       High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience


Preferred (but not required) Qualifications:

·       1 year of fiberglass related experience


·       Frequently required to stand

·       Frequently required to walk

·       Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity

·       Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop

·       Occasionally work around fumes or airborne particles
