Responsibilities

The Final Assembler position is responsible for accurately and efficiently assembles/tests a variety of moderately complex products to achieve customer quality and on-time delivery schedules.

Set up / prepare order:

  • Receive order weekly list with production sequence, sort orders according to deadlines
  • Delivery and removal of raw and finished parts by means of industrial truck
  • Check order for completeness and correctness, clarify if necessary. Assemble material / parts according to parts lists / packing lists. Provide tools / gauges. Determine work sequence.

Process:

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical parts / assemblies according to drawing and (partly with gauges).
  • Assemble sensors and wiring according to wiring diagram.
  • Assembly according to drawing/specification/instruction of special and special applications.
  • If required, fit/adjust individual parts by applying common manufacturing processes such as drilling, sawing, filing......
  • Carry out packing process according to country-specific specifications (QSA`s) by means of packing lists, scan parts, affix package label and contents list
  • Order feedback incl. part identification

Checking:

  • Carry out visual, dimensional and functional checks using test bench and test specification, create and sign test report
  • Commissioning of single / special / special devices
  • Eliminate errors Perform rework or
  • In case of rejects, inform supervisor about the facts (rework order)
Qualifications
  • 2 yr. Technical Degree preferred (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirements.)
  • 2 + year(s)industry related experience in assembly/test in a manufacturing environment.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations, as well as demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills.
  • Possess strong mechanical reasoning.
  • 1+ Years of experience wiring
  • Possess some knowledge on electrical clearances.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced start-up environment.
  • Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, work instructions, and test specifications.
  • Familiar with both micrometers and caliper measuring tools is a plus.
  • Able to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Local candidates are preferred. No relocation assistance will be provided.
