is assisting with the recruitment and training for
Peabody Engineering & Supply, Inc.
Peabody Engineering (Peabody), a 69-year old family owned company founded in Southern California, is moving its corporate headquarters to Liberty, SC. Peabody has three manufacturing units; Rotational molded plastic chemical storage, containment and handling products sold through a national network of authorized distributors, custom molding of plastic products for other original equipment manufacturers and composite fiberglass manufacturing. Primary markets include The United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Shipping/Receiving/Traffic Clerk
Qualifications and requirements include:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Shipping/Receiving in Industrial/Manufacturing Environment.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to operate small hand power tools.
- Certified/Licensed Forklift Driver – Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Ability to conduct in-process quality assurance.
- Familiarity with computer-based/online shipping software for UPS, FedEx and Major Common Carriers.
- Ability to conduct in-process quality assurance.
- Familiarity with computer-based/online shipping software for UPS, FedEx and Major Common Carriers.
- Experience in scheduling/working with brokers for LTL and Truckload shipments, permit loads and export shipments to meet on-time delivery requirements.
- Ability to properly label, inspect and package finished products for secure shipping via common/contract carriers.
- Ability to follow all safety procedures and consistent use of PPE equipment as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Preferably education or experience in manufacturing-related environment.
M-TH/10 hour days (5am-3pm) overtime when required
