Peabody Engineering & Supply, Inc.
Peabody Engineering (Peabody), a 69-year old family owned company founded in Southern California, is moving its corporate headquarters to Liberty, SC. Peabody has three manufacturing units; Rotational molded plastic chemical storage, containment and handling products sold through a national network of authorized distributors, custom molding of plastic products for other original equipment manufacturers and composite fiberglass manufacturing. Primary markets include The United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Plastic Welder/Fabricator Technician
Qualifications and requirements include:
- Minimum 2 year experience in manufacturing environment, including the proper use of various hand operated power tools. Plastic welding experience a plus.
- Good eye hand coordination
- Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings and BOM’s
- Fast Learner and highly motivated
- Effective use of safety equipment and housekeeping protocols
- Ability to conduct in-process quality assurance protocols
- Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
- Must be 18 years of age or older, willingness and ability to learn proprietary process and take instruction well
- Consistent proper use of Safety and PPE equipment
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work standing up for entire shift
- High School diploma or GED Preferred
M-TH/10 hour days (5am-3pm) overtime when required
