Digital Press Operator, Online Large Format
The Digital Press Operator produces high quality output that meets the expectations of TBG’s customers in an efficient and timely manner. This role effectively utilizes digital press equipment to achieve high quality output, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance and consistency. This requires an extensive knowledge of TBG processes and equipment to best utilize the print devices in an optimal fashion achieving the highest print quality per TBG’s quality standards.
Job Duties:
- Operates and maintains Device(s) in accordance with Daily, Weekly and Monthly standards.
- Keeps the workspace clean and organized while following Device Standards.
- Ensures all files and layouts have proper colors that match the desired end product as well as the proper file resolution.
- Prepares files to match the original art design
- Prepares and checks files to assure that they are printable.
- Analyzes the machine settings and modifies in order to get the greatest print resolution and output.
- Ensures files are imposed and stepped up to maximize yield of specified substrate and print device.
- Documents, names files correctly, and rips files (converts to a format that printers can use).
- Ensures colors are handled correctly and any fabric sublimates the color as expected.
- Follows all TBG protocols and procedures according to Company standards.
- Performs miscellaneous projects and tasks as requested by management.
Skills & Abilities:
- Computer skills- experience with Google suites, Google sheets, Google docs, Google drive, Gmail.
- Basic math skills; Accuracy with counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc. Ability to read a tape measure.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to learn and follow directions.Communicate effectively with team members as issues arise. Be comfortable asking for help when needed.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Quickly adapt to changing priorities; requires ability to switch priorities and focus on what tasks need to be completed by the end of the workday.
- Willing to put forth the extra effort and time in order to meet customer expectations.
- Capable of working in a high paced environment.
Experience Required:
- High School or GED degree required
- 1+ years of machine operation experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO PERFORM THIS JOB
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills including demonstrated listening skills
- Ability to present ideas and thoughts concisely and effectively both internally and outside the organization.
- Move around the plant and office areas repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to stand up to 12 hour shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; push, pull, bend, stoop and reach as needed throughout the day.

Shift hours: M-F 6:45 am – 3:15 pm
Starting wage or wage range: $19.00 per hour
