Nordson Industrial Coating Systems (ICS) designs equipment our global customers rely on for the precise application and curing of liquid paint, powder finishes, container barrier coatings and ambient temperature adhesives and sealants. Production lines work smarter with custom engineered robotic solutions from Nordson Industrial Coating Systems. 

Potential employment opportunities exist for the new Nordson facility in Clinton:

Machinist

Positions available: 
  • Machinist I – 1 year experience preferred, certificate or associates degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field of study.
  • Machinist II – 3 years’ experience preferred, certificate or associates degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field of study.
  • Senior Machinist – 5 years’ experience preferred, certificate or associates degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field of study.
  • Lead Machinist - 8 years’ experience preferred, certificate or associates degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field of study.
Pay starting at $23.00/hour with benefits starting DAY 1!  Job Level and compensation commensurate with experience.

How YOU will make an impact:
  • Understand and set up tool registers, mills, lathes, drills, Bridgeport, switches, offsets, and CNC program editing. computerized equipment for defined runs. Light assembly, deburring, and general handling of parts / work in process. 
  • Responsible for routine machinery maintenance and running visual tests on broken or worn parts while keeping inventory of machine replacement parts. 
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines in the assembly process. 
  • Other duties as assigned and as stated in the full job description
You’ll also need to be able to:
  • May be required to remain stationary, stand, sit and/or bend frequently or for extended periods of time.
  • Employee will frequently be required to actively listen and exchange verbal and written information.
  • Employee may be required to observe and assess information received via computer.
  • Must be able to frequently lift / carry and push / pull 25 – 50 pounds.
Qualifications to be successful:
  • GED or High School diploma
  • Dependable; maintains regular and punctual attendance
  • Willingness to learn
Day to day environment:
  • Safe & clean environment
  • You’ll be working around large manufacturing equipment and forklifts.   
  • Climate control temperatures and all work is conducted inside.
