Primarily hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift.
M-F 2:40pm-11:00pm and 10:40pm-7:00am
Starting pay is $21.53
Shift premiums: $1/hr for 2nd and $2/hr for 3rd

Machine Technician
Purpose:
Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery from paper supply to packing station in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring optimal efficiency, safety, and product quality. The role contributes to meeting production targets while minimizing downtime and waste.
Responsibilities:
- Operate all machines in accordance with Setterstix safety standards and product specification sheets. Machines comprise stick machine from paper loading to auto packer, the carton erector, printer, pointer.
- This would include understanding of all applicable data noted on specification sheets and what actions need to be taken to satisfy specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
- Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
- Assure product quality by performing regular Quality Control checks of stick characteristics while performing the machine technician function (length, diameter, stiffness, wax amount, etc.) according to SOP.
- Assure quick problem solving and execution to achieve Setterstix targets
- Complete all necessary paperwork used in the production process accurately
- Achieve the tasks following the standards of the Setterstix Quality Management System, inclusive of BRC.
Requirements:
- Speak, write and understand English language.
- Ability to pass physical, drug screen and background check.
- Ability to reach, bend, squat, and lift 50lbs.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Understand & properly operate all lights, controls, switches and buttons used in the operations of stick machines.
- Problem solving competency.
- Six Sigma yellow or green belt or similar
- Attention to Detail — Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks including accuracy of compliance to standards and correct reports.
