Primarily hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift.
M-F 2:40pm-11:00pm and 10:40pm-7:00am
Starting pay is $18.93
Shift premiums: $1/hr for 2nd and $2/hr for 3rd
Climate controlled environment.

Inspector Packer
Purpose:
Achieve the timely packing of product cartons in compliance with Setterstix quality standards and according to schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Pack and inspect cartons in accordance with Company procedures (For example, no sticks down the sides or oriented incorrectly in the carton, carton “full” to ensure no shift of contents when sealed, carton & flaps square when placed on the sealer line).
- Proficient on the operation of the Packing Line (shaker, hopper, switches, cleaning), and pre-make cartons
- Comply with Stick Manufacturing Specification Sheets (length & diameter ranges, carton requirements, counts & weights, labeling, special instructions).
- Assure product quality by performing regular Quality Control checks of stick characteristics while performing the packing/inspection function (length, diameter, stiffness, wax amount, etc.) according to SOP.
- Identify potential defects and remove them, while collaborating with the machine technicians when defects are identified. (For example, unsealed, twisted, rollovers, bad ends, short, hollow, pointed, spots, doubles, attached nubbins, whiskers, flags, paper dust, wire-marks, bent, burnt, nubbin jams).
- Ensure that production reporting requirements for the position are fulfilled.
- Achieve the tasks following the standards of the Setterstix Quality Management System, inclusive of BRC.
Requirements:
- Speak, write and understand English language
- Ability to pass physical, drug screen and background check
- Ability to reach, bend, squat, and lift 50lbs
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, especially by actively collaborating with Machine Technicians when defects are identified to support in the solution
- Attention to Detail — Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks, including accuracy of compliance to standards and correct reports.
