Potential employment opportunities exist for:
Machine Shop Operator
Job Duties:
- Set up and operate machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders) to produce parts
- Build assemblies associated with the machine operator position at Aerowerks
- Assemblies include but are not limited to conveyor belts, drive units and other assemblies associated with conveyor production
- Follow blueprints and specifications to meet required tolerances
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues
- Adhere to safety procedures and promote a safe work environment
- Collaborate with other departments to support smooth production flow
- May assist in training new operators
- Must be prepared to work in other areas and departments in the facility if asked to do so
Experience Required:
- 2–3 years of machine shop experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficiency with measuring tools and attention to accuracy
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Vocational or technical training in machine shop operations is a plus

Location: Gaffney, SC
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Position: Full-time
Wage: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Experience: 2–3 years of machine shop operation experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training preferred

Office Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
