Site Installer

Job Duties:
  • Be familiar with the scope of work and list of responsibilities for each job.
  • Manage overall day-to-day activities for all assigned installs.
  • Maintain a professional appearance for client interaction.
  • Lift 50 lbs. and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Use power tools and basic hand tools effectively.
  • Work punctually and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Make installation-related decisions independently.
  • Maintain detailed project records.
  • Work in construction or adverse field conditions.
  • Inspect delivered equipment and report damages.
  • Set, assemble, fabricate, and weld parts in the field.
  • Assemble conveyor systems and associated equipment.
  • Assist with inspections by local authorities (AHJ).
  • Coordinate replacement or return of damaged/nonfunctioning parts.
  • Arrange the collection of recyclable/scrap items.
  • Handle hazardous substances according to guidelines.
  • Conduct post-installation walkthrough with customer representatives.
  • Complete and submit post-installation documentation.
  • Escalate issues impacting safety, schedule, or cost.
  • Assist with factory assembly work when not on site.
Experience Required:
  • 2 years of construction experience (preferred).
  • 2 years Mig/Tig welding experience (required).
  • Basic electrical/plumbing experience (preferred).
  • Valid/clean driver’s license (required).
  • Ability to pass drug & background checks (required).
  • Willingness and ability to travel (required). 
  • Reliable transportation (truck preferred).

  • $50 daily per diem for overnight stays.
  • $20 per diem for long single-day travel (over 12 hours and 30+ miles).
  • Travel time paid at hourly rate.

Location: Gaffney, SC
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Position: Full-time
Wage: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
Experience: 3–5 years of welding and metal finishing experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; welding or fabrication training/certification preferred
