Potential employment opportunities exist for: 2nd and 3rd Shift Cleaner Operators (Finishing Department)

The Cleaner Operator position is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in the Finishing Department to ensure production goals are met while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain acceptable safety, quality, and productivity levels as assigned
• Operate various work centers as required with flexibility
• Accurately maintain daily production sheets and job clocking, including correct counts
• Learn and perform machine setups as needed
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
• Identify and report scrap defects to the Leader or Supervisor
• Use hand tools as needed
• Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
• Interact positively with team members and leadership
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to learn and operate various machinery
• Basic math and documentation skills
• Willingness to work in a team environment and adapt to changing tasks
• Good attendance and reliability
• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks across the departments
• Successful candidates must be fluent enough in English to read and understand written and verbal safety instructions, read and understand standard operating procedures for machine operation, and coordinate effectively with English-speaking co-workers and supervisors

Desired Skills:

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Manual dexterity to operate tools and machinery
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs as needed
• Tolerance for a manufacturing environment including noise and temperature variations

Environmental Requirements:

• Exposure to a manufacturing environment that may include noise, temperature variations, and moving equipment.
• May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses or steel-toed shoes when on the shop floor or near loading docks

These positions will start at $18.24/hr.
