Teijin Carbon Fibers, Inc.

This position will be responsible for receiving all materials to ensure that all materials are available to meet both the production plan and customer delivery requirements. This position will report to the Procurement and Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities include:

·        Manage inventory through planning availability of raw materials, component parts, and finished goods

·        Support maintenance of Master Data for components and received goods

·        Maintain positive customer relationships through customer order management and appropriate monitoring of supply base

·        Work with Production, Maintenance and Procurement to ensure all schedules are maintained and accurate for inbound materials

·        Ensures that freight is received and serves as point of escalation for all receiving issues

·        Assists Manager to maintain logistics reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis

·        Maintains proper guidelines for document storage per US Customs record retention policies

·        Responds to all inquiries for transit times

·        Perform incoming inspection on materials, escalate issues immediately

·        Ensure all paperwork and scanning of incoming material has occurred before issued to production

·        Other duties as required

 

Qualifications & Skills:

·        High School Diploma or GED  

 

·        2 years of logistics experience in Manufacturing Industry (global logistics experience preferred) 

 

·       Forklift driver’s certification (current) and 2+ years of experience operating forklift in warehouse or manufacturing facility utilizing a computerized inventory control system preferred

 

·        Internal/External Auditing experience preferred

 

·        Experience with ERP system or other manufacturing/purchasing systems & Windows-based PC programs

 

·        Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

 

·        Experience working with an international, culturally diverse team is preferred

 

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, superior organizational skills

 

·        Proven ability to identify and implement continuous improvement areas

 

·        Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines

 

·        Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check

 

·        Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines

 

·        Demonstrated safety knowledge and performance

 

·        Fluent in English

 

·        HazMat Certification Preferred
