the U.S. We are currently seeking candidates to fill a Manufacturing Technician
role to support our Florence, South Carolina plant.

Job Summary
As a Manufacturing
Technician, you will set up, test and adjust manufacturing machinery or
equipment, using any combination of electrical, electronic, mechanical,
hydraulic, pneumatic, or computer technologies. You will use your manufacturing
technician skills to influence and inspire change while ensuring that safety
and quality considerations are always paramount. Work across the organization
to foster continuous improvement for long-term success.
Job Functions

function statements describe the general nature and level of work being
performed. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all
responsibilities, duties and skills required of this position.
- Assembly of lithium-ion batteries that are utilized in a variety of industries including automotive, non-automotive power equipment and home/business stationary storage.
- Working as a member of various workstations along an assembly process in cell assembly, pack, material handling or other groups to produce lithium-ion batteries.
- Assignment to different workstations/rotations as production needs require.
- Sharing ideas and making recommendations on process design and manufacturing improvements to resolve issues, further increase product quality and maintain cost competitiveness.
- Work with highly automated assembly equipment as well as other battery-powered hand tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High aptitude to understand and analyze basic data.
Minimum Qualifications
Have verifiable stable
work history, with manufacturing experience preferred.
Education
High School Diploma or
GED preferred.

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to read, write, speak, hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach and lift with hands and arms frequently throughout the day.
- Required to occasionally lift, push, pull and/or move up to 20 pounds for extended periods of time and occasionally required to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time.
- Physical ability to wear various PPE as required by work areas.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment (wearing a clean room suit for extended periods of time).
- Ability to use HMI, Computers and other electronic devices as required by work area.

Work Environment
The work environment is
primarily an automated manufacturing plant with a concrete floor and is
characterized by some temperature extremes, moderate noise, and forklift
traffic. The individual must be able to perform all essential functions as
appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees, management,
customers and suppliers.
