Introduction
The County's Program
Administrator for Homeless Initiatives plays a crucial leadership role in
coordinating and evaluating homelessness initiatives. This position will work
closely with local jurisdictions, public and private agencies, and the San
Joaquin Continuum of Care to align policies, programs, and funding. Through
diligent oversight and compliance management,
the Administrator ensures effective delivery of services to citizens
dealing with homelessness. This is a pivotal leadership role in the County's
ongoing efforts to combat homelessness and improve the lives of those in need.

Selection Procedures
If warranted by the number of applicants,

County Civil Service system.

positions are at-will and are not governed by the Civil Service.
A background investigation will

conditional upon passing a drug screen test as well as DOJ Live Scan
fingerprinting.
