DOCUMENT SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS

Completion of a Basic Jail Operations Core Course is required for this position. All candidates must submit a copy of their Basic Jail Operations Core Course certificate by the application review deadline. Candidates who fail to submit their diploma or transcripts by the application review deadline will be disqualified from the recruitment.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: Candidates who attended a college or university that is accredited by a foreign or non-U.S. accrediting agency must have their educational units evaluated by an educational evaluation service. The result must be submitted to the Human Resources Department no later than the close of the recruitment. Please contact the local college or university to learn where this service can be obtained.

COVID-19 VACCINE REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT

To support the health and safety of employees, students, and members of the community, many of our partnering training academies are now requiring the COVID-19 vaccination.   Individuals required to attend training in one of these academies will be required to be vaccinated prior to the beginning of the class. Individuals will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

For those individuals that may have a religious belief or medical reason that prevents them from taking the vaccine, they must request the exemption directly from the academy. Please be advised that COVID-19 protocols are continually evolving and may be changed by either the County or partner training academies.
