Application Instructions

NOTICE: Should you be selected for employment, you will be subjected to a criminal background check. The City of Tampa will not deny employment solely because of the conviction of a crime, but may deny employment because of a crime, when it directly relates to the position being sought.

YOU MUST PASS A DRUG SCREEN AND BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO BE EMPLOYED

Applications are the property of the City of Tampa and are subject to the Public Records Law, F.S. 119

Your Responsibilities as the Applicant

  1. Before sending your application in to City of Tampa, it is your responsibility to ensure correctness of all information submitted in the application and to print out a copy of the application in the "Review Part" for your records.
  2. You are required to provide a valid email address and to check to be sure that you receive an email confirming that your application was sent to City of Tampa. This email is sent immediately upon receipt of your application by City of Tampa. You should receive this confirmation email within one day after clicking on the "Send" button.
  3. If you do not receive the confirmation email, it is your responsibility to contact the Human Resources. If you fail to do so, your application may not be considered for the opening for which you have applied.

Any other use of this online employment application system, including without limitation any copying, downloading, translation, decompiling or reverse engineering of the system, data, or related software, shall be a violation of this Terms of Use Agreement.
