Seasonal Pool Guard May 28 - August 14 ($15.00/hour)*
Applicants must be at least 16 years or older; be able to commit to a 11-week schedule; be able to attend paid training sessions. Must possess a Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding (CPR/FirstAid/AED) certification. Those interested in becoming certified can contact Parks and Recreation Aquatics at 274-7732 for course information.
Participates in performing a variety of lifeguarding tasks, aquatic programming, and enforcing of safety rules at a municipal swimming facility.
Works irregular hours including evening, weekends, and holidays. Up to 40 hours/week.
Swim Instructor June 1 – August 7 ($15.00/hour)
Applicants must be at least 18 years old or older, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to commit to a 9 week schedule. Teaches swim instruction at the fundamental levels to youth and adults. Completes and records all required documentation. Provides effective feedback to students and parents. Must pass a swim test prior to hiring. Training and certification course provided once hired.
Works irregular hours including evenings and weekends. Up to 40 hours/week.

Mangrove Marcus Camp Leader ($15.00/hour) and Director ($16.00/hour) June 1 – July 16
Aquatic Camp Leader ($15.00/hour) and Director ($16.00/hour) June 1 - August 6
Applicants must be at least 18 years or older; possess a high school degree or equivalent; possess a valid Florida driver's license; be able to commit to a 9 week schedule; be able to attend (2) paid training sessions; experience working with school age children in a lead capacity is preferred. Works up to 40 hours/week.
Camp Director ($16.00/hour) is responsible for the organization and administration of an all-day seasonal camp for children that is focused on a natural aquatic environment, oversees day to day activities, and supervises campers and subordinate staff. Must be able to perform work requiring physical stamina in an outside setting.
Camp Leader ($15.00/hour) must be able to perform work requiring physical stamina in an outside setting, oversees the safety of campers in an aquatic environment, and is able to perform a high level of swimming ability in various aquatic settings. Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding is required.
Aquatic Customer Service Leader 40 hours per week ($15.00/hour) May 31 - August 7
Applicants must be at least 18 years or older; possess a high school degree or equivalent; be able to commit to an 10-week schedule; be able to attend paid training sessions. Assigned to the front desk at a pool. Provides customer service to patrons visiting the pool including recording attendance, selling swim lessons, passes, etc. Hours will vary and may include evenings and weekends. Good customer service skills are necessary. Proficient computer skills are required with the ability to use web-based software and follow formatting procedures. This position does not require a lifeguard certification.
Works irregular hours including evening, weekends, and holidays. Up to 40 hours/week.
Performs related work as required.
Possession of a valid Florida driver's license may be required.
