Plans, assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of assigned personnel; recommends employment, promotions within the matrix, and other personnel actions; administers discipline as required; responds to grievances; completes performance evaluations; approves leave and training requests.
Monitors and evaluates work processes for improved team efficiency; schedules resources for team members growth; maintains continuous 30-day forecast of resources and projects; evaluates performance measures; evaluates work practices.
Evaluates on the following: how often personnel conflicts are taken to leadership; number of times team meets performance measures; number of skill blocks obtained per team member; number of violations of permit as a direct result of their shift.
Attends weekly team meetings with agenda forwarded to leadership - pump stations and plant; attends round table evaluations among team leaders.
Develops effective team members; trains employees in different areas of plant operation; reinforces and supports the use of business skills, technical skills, and team skills; deals with personnel issues; communicates needs and expectations.
Co-develops, reviews, and implements plans and goals; coordinates the work with other teams, support groups, and leadership.
Ensures the overall performance of the treatment plant and pump stations; makes critical decisions; monitors processes of the plant; monitors all processes of the plant and pump stations to ensure that all regulations are met; provides safety monitoring of operational areas.
Participates in regulatory reporting as well as record keeping of training, log books, preventative maintenance, etc.
Performs as a working member of the team.
Performs related work as required.
