Provides assistance to the wastewater collection division manager in maintaining focus on the vision of the organization; continuously communicates the vision to other team members; leads by example; proactively interacts with the organization; builds and maintains a culture of trust.
Performs assignments necessary to support wastewater collection system preventive and reactive maintenance matters; oversees through subordinate supervisors: vehicle and equipment coordination and maintenance; grease trap inspections; utility locates; planning and scheduling; surveying; and other support activities.
Coaches and motivates subordinates; facilitates communication with the maintenance teams; identifies problems in early stages and applies appropriate solutions; reviews/ updates standard operating procedures (SOPs); evaluates performance of subordinates; mediates employee disputes; makes timely decisions.
Stays current with industry trends and new strategies; ensures that sufficient resources are available; directs implementation of new strategies.
Supports the core business by removing obstacles, taking responsibility and making timely decisions.
Performs related work as required.
