Reemployment

This section of the application is only for former City of Tampa employees who resigned after completing the required probationary period and seek reemployment within six (6) months of resignation in the same classification previously held.  The former employee must request consideration in writing prior to application submission and meet all requirements set forth by Civil Service rules.  Permanent classified employess, and employees on probationary status. Once you complete the re-employment application notify the Employment Services office immediately afterwards via phone or email.

This section of the application is only for City of Tampa employees who are in a laid off status.  The employee must  continue to meet all requirements set forth by Civil Service rules and remain within one year of their lay off date.  Once you complete the layoff application notify the Employment Services office immediately afterwards via phone or email. All other applications must be submitted via the normal Employment Opportunities page to receive consideration.
