Loudoun County's Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) has provided recreation and leisure opportunities and supportive community services for our citizens since 1966. Our dynamic and growing department serves the aquatic needs of our residents with three indoor aquatics facilities, Claude Moore Recreation Center with its 20-lane competition pool, leisure pool with giant water slide and hot tub spa, Round Hill Aquatics Center with its accessible entrances and a zero-depth ramp, and the brand new Dulles South Recreation Center which will house its own 20 lane competition pool, leisure pool with water slide and a hot tub spa. We are looking for individuals to #JoinTheFunWithPRCS and become part of the Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services aquatics team. We have immediate openings for Lifeguards at all of our indoor aquatics facilities. If you hold a Red Cross, or equivalent, Lifeguard Certification and would like to give back to your community while working a flexible part time schedule, we have the ideal opportunity for you. You will monitor the pools and enforce pool rules to ensure swimmer safety and ensure a safe and clean aquatic facility. Work hours are available that include early mornings, daytime, evenings and weekends – to work around your school, work or family commitments. Salary will be based on qualifications.
