We have an immediate opening for a regular, part-time, 20 hour a week, Senior Trip Assistant position. This program provides day and overnight travel for well and active seniors.

As the Senior Trip Assistant you will:

  • Assist program staff with administrative tasks
  • Provide group event coordination prior to trip
  • Provide supervision during day and night trips
  • Manage payment reminders

Work hours vary with trip/activity and may include weekday, evening and weekend hours. Duties will include driving a bus up to 28 passengers.

Job Requirements

Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School Diploma.

Special Requirements

Valid driver’s license required. Commercial driver's license (CDL), Class C with passenger endorsement is strongly preferred. Prefer CDL at time of hire, however will provide assistance to successful candidate to obtain appropriate CDL license within 4 months of hire. CDL position must comply with the Alcohol and Controlled Substance Testing Program as outlined by Loudoun County's Alcohol and Controlled Substance Testing Policy for Transportation Employees. Six months experience operating bus preferred. Experience working with senior population or other special population preferred.
