The Design & Construction Project Associate is responsible for entry-to early-level professional work in the design, inspection, and project management of construction projects, including buildings, architectural improvements, and other civil projects undertaken by the City of New Haven. Work includes assisting with the preparation of architectural design documents, conducting field inspections, monitoring contractor performance, and supporting project delivery processes. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the City Engineer or appropriate designee and is reviewed through conferences, field observation, and evaluation of project outcomes.

This is a Capital Fund, "Non-Tested" position.
This position is included in a collective bargaining agreement with Local 3144, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.
