Function

The Parking Data and Reporting Analyst primarily works regular business hours, Monday through Friday. 
Periodically this individual may be subject to calls and work during irregular/non-traditional hours, overtime, and emergency calls back to work. 

Summary

The Parking Data & Reporting Analyst is responsible for developing, supporting, and executing strategies, techniques, and processes to increase parking and ground transportation revenue. Support the Parking and Ground Transportation Revenue Manager by performing benchmarking, data analysis, ad-hoc reporting, forecasting, and yield management.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Analyze and interpret parking data to provide quality analysis and insight to drive informed pricing decisions, marketing campaigns and other creative ideas that improve the customer experience and parking revenue.
2. Work with the Airport’s Online Booking Service (OBS) provider to collect parking data and provide weekly reporting, dashboards, and ad-hoc reports to airport management.
3. Perform benchmarking and data analysis to identify trends, gain insight, and understand the parking business status.
4. Apply relevant forecasting techniques to develop and implement passenger forecasts, and optimization algorithms to maximize revenue across all parking products.
5. Actively monitor market changes, pricing, products, and capacity of off-site competitors to assess and refine the Airport’s products and pricing based on occupancy and demand.
6. Perform budgeting, forecasting, variance, and pricing analysis

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent critical thinking, and communication skills
  • An ability to understand data patterns and analyze large data sets 
  • Experienced and proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Tableau preferred
  • Ability to collect & report metrics, deliver results and meet deadlines
  • Proven team-based leadership skills and associated behaviors with an ability to motivate, lead and inspire both individuals and staff groups
  • Outstanding time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently to accomplish objectives
  • Ability to identify the key areas of the parking and ground transportation business for development
  • Ability to perform revenue and business analyses for data driven decisions 
  • Strong focus on strategical and innovative initiatives that improve our customer experience, while working and conferring with internal stakeholders to continuously enhance our product offerings

Preferred Qualification

Experience with data analysis, revenue management, business development, pricing strategy, database management, optimization, forecasting or decision-support analysis is preferred. Airport experience is a plus.   

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and three years related work experience

OR

Master's Degree and one year related work experience

Conditions of Employment
