Manager, Graphics and Reproduction is the managerial level of work in central management of all printing, reproductions, graphic arts and other activities related to printed materials for the Department of General Services. Employees in this class supervise a large staff including Print Shop Supervisors, Service Workers, Graphic Arts Specialists and clerical staff.
The employee receives general supervision from a higher-level administrator.
Manages all printing, reproductions, graphic arts and other activities related to printed materials for the Department of General Services;
Directs centralized printing shops;
Recommends and implements policies and procedures to control all State graphics and reproduction operations;
Formulates policies and standards for an inspection control program;
Advise officials from other State agencies on graphics and reproduction matters;
Provides management and budget officials technical advice necessary for cost efficient management decisions;
Inspects State reproduction facilities;
Recommends disposition of all requests for purchasing, renting or leasing of equipment;
Performs other related duties.
