This is managerial level work in a district of the Office of Public Defender. The Districr Public Defender Baltimore City is the chief administrator responsible for the Public Defender operation for Baltimore City.
Receives executive direction from the Public Defender, Deputy Public Defender, and Chief Counsel of Administration of the Office of Public Defender.
Directs and coordinates all legal and non-legal functions of a district of the Office of Public defender;
Supervises the development and implementation of district procedures and controls;
Oversees a budget and the use of expenditures for legal services;
Manages, coordinates, supervises and evaluates the work of subordinate supervisors and staff within the assigned district;
Performs other related duties.
