Summary

The Landside Customer Service & Employee Parking Supervisor oversees the maintenance and support of the CLT Employee Parking Program, Parking & Bus Operations Customer Feedback and Landside Customer Service.  The work requires initiative, time management and public contact.  Work is evaluated based on customer feedback, observation, employee parking successful operation and work product.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Communicate with CLT stakeholders about their employee parking needs, conduct training, make recommendations and work on employee parking solutions.
2. Maintain employee parking database and records; prepare monthly billing for each stakeholder.
3. Troubleshoot employee parking issues and work with internal and external partners on solutions.
4. Provides courteous and helpful service to internal and external customers.  Handles assigned guest complaints and requests. Conduct research to get to a resolution.
5. Provide training and team leadership to subordinates, coworkers and contracts staff member. Promote quality process improvements. 
6. Oversee the Landside citation program, monitor devices and address appeals.
7. Provides back up coverage for Employee Parking Specialist and Landside Customer Service Specialist.
8. Complete site visits where the work is performed to monitor operations and contractor performance.   Document issues and recommend solutions to Landside Operations Manager.  
9. Effectively maintain close liaison with internal and external customers, consultants, and contractors, providing clarification of contract terms and provisions.
10. Support other Airport Operations Sections by performing assistance duties for irregular and emergency operations such as crowd control, fire watches, escorts, and other duties deemed necessary for continuity of operations. 
11. Other duties, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Thorough knowledge of computer systems and ability to effectively use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and assist others in their use of these programs.
• Thorough knowledge of airport ordinances, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Ability to provide verbal and written communication.  
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to plan and organize the work of support staff.
• Ability to analyze problems and make effective decisions.
• Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the public, represent the airport in a positive, professional manner, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, tenants, and contractors.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and complete related paperwork.  
• Ability to speak clearly enough to be understood over the radio and communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to lead and provide clear directions.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Preferred Qualification

  • Three years of customer service experience and one year of professional supervisory experience.
  • Experience working in an airport environment.
  

Minimum Qualifications

High School Graduate or Equivalent and five years related work experience

OR

Associate's Degree and three years related work experience

OR

Bachelor's Level Degree and one-year related work experience

Conditions of Employment
